Mornington Peninsula Wedding Films
Cinematic wedding films across the Peninsula
The Peninsula sits an hour or so south of Melbourne, where the city's southern suburbs give way to vineyards, coastal estates, and the long curve of the bay. Weddings here have a different quality from anywhere else in Victoria. The light is softer, filtered through eucalypts and salt air. The pace is slower. The venues, almost without exception, sit in landscapes that do most of the work — vineyards, gardens, beaches, designed estates where the architecture has become part of the wedding industry's visual language over the last decade.
Pt. Leo Estate is probably the most photographed venue on the peninsula, and for good reason — the sculpture garden, the hillside ceremony space, the long restaurant looking out across the vines toward Western Port. We've filmed numerous weddings here and every one of them has felt different, because Pt. Leo doesn't impose a single mood. It absorbs whatever the day brings.
Montalto, just up the road, has a quieter energy. Jackalope brings the boldest visual signature on the peninsula — the dark exterior, the curated interiors, the deliberate sense of occasion. We've watched the peninsula's wedding culture grow from a regional alternative to a destination in its own right. Couples now travel to the peninsula specifically for what it offers — and they expect filming and photography that matches the considered nature of the venues.
We've filmed across the peninsula in every season. What we know now is that the best peninsula weddings let the landscape lead. Our films follow.
Pt. Leo Estate
The peninsula's most-photographed venue, and rightly so. Sculpture garden, hillside chapel, long restaurant looking across the vines toward Western Port. Taylor & Kelsey's wedding at Pt. Leo is in our films collection.
Montalto Winery
A boutique winery with a small chapel and a sculpture walk through the vines. Montalto weddings tend toward the intimate end of the peninsula's scale, which suits the venue perfectly. Megan & David's wedding at Montalto is in our films collection.
Jackalope Hotel
The boldest visual signature on the peninsula — dark exterior, curated interiors, deliberate sense of occasion. Jackalope weddings feel like editorial spreads. Marnie & Adam's wedding here is in our films collection.
The coastal road and private estates
Some of our favourite peninsula weddings happen between venues — at the cliffs, on the beach, at family properties along the coastal road. The peninsula rewards couples who plan around the landscape, not against it.
Recent films
The peninsula sits about an hour to ninety minutes south of Melbourne. We travel from our city base for every wedding, and most peninsula weddings include accommodation for the team for either the night before or the night of, depending on the start time and venue. The peninsula rewards an early start — the morning light through the eucalypts is often the best of the day.

Frequently asked
Do you travel to the Mornington Peninsula for weddings?
Yes, the Peninsula is one of our most-filmed regions. As we're based in Melbourne, travel to the Mornington Peninsula is quoted per wedding based on your venue and schedule, and it's always set out clearly in your proposal.
Which Mornington Peninsula venues have you filmed at?
We've filmed at vineyard estates, coastal properties, and private homes across the Peninsula. Whether your wedding is at a winery, a beachside venue, or a family property, we plan our coverage around the specific location and light.
What makes filming on the Peninsula different?
The Peninsula gives us coastline, vineyards, and open sky often within the same day, which means the light changes character as the day moves. We plan portraits and key moments around that, and the relaxed pace of Peninsula weddings tends to give us more room to capture the quieter moments.
How far in advance should we book?
We only take on a limited number of weddings each year. Most couples enquire twelve to eighteen months ahead, and we'd recommend reaching out early, particularly for summer and autumn dates on the Peninsula.
When will we receive our wedding film?
We'll confirm your delivery timeframe in your proposal and keep you posted throughout the edit, so you always know where things are.
